Finally, the first time ever SQL Server on Linux is publicly available to explore the new power of SQL Server. With this release of SQL Server, you can develop applications with SQL Server on Linux, Windows, Docker, or macOS (via Docker) and then deploy to Linux, Windows, or Docker, on-premises or in the cloud.

Operating System media
SQL Server on Linux CTP1 is supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu. It is also available as a Docker image which can run on Docker Engine on Linux or Docker for Windows/Mac.You can download the operating system images from below link
